A brilliantly written book, this is a true account of Bill Browder's experiences in Russia and the circumstances surrounding the death of Sergei Magnitsky, which formed the backdrop of the Magnitsky Act, which has gained new relevance in the age of Trump. It's compulsory reading for those reasons, but also because it's simply great storytelling. As well as everything else, Browder is a terrific storyteller, making this a true page turner.
